We all live today and forbear from risking
Balakireva Olga Mykolayivna, Ph.D. in Sociology, Associate Professor, Head of the Board of Olexandr Yaremenko Ukrainian Institute for Social Research You cannot overwet a bog; it absorbs the floodwater. Every crisis rubs salt into our old wounds, because Ukraine used to think tactically, not strategically, we failed to protect ourselves from potential external threats.

The crisis management is the biggest threat
Mykola Ozhevan, Head of information security and international information relations department of NIPMB under NCSDU, Ph.D., Prof. Our is an uncontrolled country: all regions enjoy self-regulation. If not for government financing, they would have put the capital out of mind. Oblast administrations are not controlled by the government; the line of command is broken somewhere at the level of regions, while towns, settlements and villages are managed by clans or autonomous group of unknown origin.

Let's Wait for Summer!
Yuri Ruban, Director of the Institute for Strategic Studies The time of reckoning began in 2008 with payments to depositors of the Savings Bank; the attempts to curb inflation with currency transactions followed, which cooled our economy and our country found itself among losers. The economy wasn’t ready to take its lumps; but the worst thing of all is that politicos have no idea how to response. As a result the country is swimming with the tide. We anchor our hope on external borrowing; however, but there is nothing in it but accumulating debt if there is no sound domestic policy. Therefore, if not disaster, we face a default.

Luhansk toiler understands that Lviv toiler is robbed just the same
Yuri Buzdugan, SDPU Leader The revolutionary situation is already there: the rulers are unable and the ruled ones are unwilling. It does not mean an armed rebellion and dictatorship. The managers need dictatorship to keep privileges and authority. For example, the dictator of Russia, Putin has removed two or three oligarchs, but this does not mean that there are only few left. But given the situation, there will be no partition of Ukraine, despite coming into conflict with Russia. We have no people’s face-off. I will say more: we are going to help the poor great Russian people. However we will face for sure the confrontation of rich and poor.

Low intellectual level of government decisions is a real threat to Ukraine
Pantsyr Serhiy Ivanovych Candidate of History, Prof., National University “Kyiv-Mohyla Academy”, expert of the Public Security Fund Both personnel and management is a key issue and sore trial for young Ukraine. We need an end-to-end responsibility. We live through time of extremely high rationalization, and nobody has any political ideals. The priority now is to survive; as soon as situation improves, they will obnubilate the political issues.

It is fate of the state which matters and not an economic crisis as such
Oleg Vernyk, organizing committee member of the New Left Movement Rocking the political boat, ruinous bombardment of public body's structure, heated frustration of different social groups may denigrate Ukraine and once again bring it to the verge of humanitarian disaster or civil war.

Current Government: No More Than a Few Months Ahead
Mykola Boiko, Chairman of the Protection–of–Farmers Public Committee, Member of the All-Ukrainian Labor Movement "Solidarity" The government must be held responsible for its current actions. If somebody wants to escape responsibility–– Minister, MP or even the President––s/he’d rather step down right now. Those remaining in office will be held fully responsible for their doings.

When the country is rolling into an abyss, everybody will go to his/her fate
Natalia Turlukovska, Deputy to the Tarashcha city Rada, Secretary of the Entrepreneurs’ Trade Union The worst setup is when the government does not understand what's happening at the bottom. The words do not match actions. Politicos are out of touch with reality.
